My work connects plant science, phytochemistry, microbiology, and open and distance education. I investigate bioactive compounds in plants and the antibacterial and antibiofilm activity of plant extracts.
Alongside my research, I teach biology through open and distance education. I also study traditional herbal preparations through phytochemical and microbiological approaches.

Antibacterial and antibiofilm activity
I study how plant extracts and their fractions interact with bacteria, including their antibacterial and antibiofilm activity.
Ethnopharmacology
I examine Indonesian herbal preparations through phytochemical and microbiological research.
Open and distance education
I teach biology through open and distance education and develop practical learning activities for my students.
